We’re looking for real people in the Charlotte area to take part in a PAID short documentary about life, work, education and the choices people are making about their future — especially during these harsh economic times.

No actors. No scripts. Just real people and real stories.

AGE 18 — HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS / RECENT GRADS
Are you figuring out what comes next? College, career training, a future in Healthcare, Business, Technology, AI, Computer Science or Game Development — or perhaps an affordable path toward a four-year degree?

AGES 28–45 — CAREER BUILDERS / CAREER CHANGERS
Are you thinking about changing careers, going back to school or learning new skills to build a better future? We’re especially interested in people considering Healthcare, Technology/AI, Computer Science, Game Development, Skilled Trades, Construction, Automotive or Transportation.

We’re looking for people who are open, expressive and comfortable talking about their lives, goals and hopes for the future.

PAID • CHARLOTTE, NC • 18+ • NO ACTING EXPERIENCE NEEDED

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

To apply, send a recent photo, your age and what you currently do via the contact form below. Then send us a video briefly answering the questions below:

QUESTION 1: What do you currently do? (For example: your current job, in school, stay at home parent etc.)

QUESTION 2: If you could meet yourself 10 years from now, what would you hope your life looks like?

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS:

STEP 1: FILL OUT THE CONTACT INFO FORM AND SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO BELOW

STEP 2: IF SELECTED, YOU WILL DO A CALLBACK WITH THE DIRECTOR VIA ZOOM

  • CALLBACK DATES: ONE DAY EITHER 9/3, 9/4 or 9/8)

STEP 3: IF OFFICIALLY BOOKED FOR THE PROJECT, YOU WILL THEN GO TO SET.

  • SHOOT DATE: SEPTEMBER 16, 2026

  • RATE OF PAY (IF SELECTED FOR SHOOT): $500
