NOW CASTING:

PEOPLE WITH MASCOT EXPERIENCE

C&J is looking for people with mascot or similar type experience for a commercial shooting in the Charlotte Area.

THIS IS A PAID OPPORTUNITY, IF CAST.

Please pay close attention to the shoot dates, as well as taping instructions, which can be downloaded below.

DEADLINE FOR AUDITION TAPE SUBMISSIONS:

  • Wednesday, August 27 by 3pm (any early submissions appreciated)

ROLES:

  • [MASCOT] Open to all ethnicities, genders, ages 18 and up. Talent should be approx. 6'0 tall (no taller than 6'5") and around 175 lbs. Someone with mascot or similar experience preferred. Good physical acting since we won’t see their face, convey emotions through their movements.

RATE OF PAY:

  • Session Fee: This is a union project, so it will be union scale which is approx. $780 (+ potential residuals)

LOCATION:

  • Charlotte, NC or Surrounding Area

  • Looking for talent in the greater Charlotte Area

CALLBACK DATE:

  • Callback: September 2, 2025 (via zoom)

FITTING & SHOOT DATE:

  • Wardrobe: Sept 7

  • Shoot Date: Sept 8

TAPING INSTRCUTIONS :

Please complete and submit the following videos

SLATE/VIDEO 1: Please start in a close up, saying your name, height and wear you live. Then please tell us a little bit about your mascot/similar type experience. Then please widen out video for a full body shot.

VIDEO 2: Please improv this scene: You see a little girl standing in line and you wave to her and she runs over to give you a hug. Then she gives you a handmade snowflake.

VIDEO 3: If you have any performance video(s) of you in a mascot/similar type costume, please upload these as well. (not required)
